I'm
Today is my last day of maternity leave. I can hardly believe three months has gone by. I cannot begin to tell you how much I've loved this time with my son. I have never felt more relaxed in my life. My boss has agreed to let me come back to work part time. He's making me come in every day, but for shorter days. No more nine to ten hour days for me. I am happy with this for now so I don't have to find a new job. I am the only IS person at the law firm where I work, and since we are growing so much, I am going to talk to my boss about hiring another person who could work full time, and then I can cut my days down to three a week. Problem solved. If that doesn't work out, I will find another job. At least now I don't have the pressure to find something right away. I love my job, but I don't need to work five days a week so there is no reason for me to. I need to spend time with our son. Nicholas is going to be twelve weeks old tomorrow. He's laughing, smiling, grabbing things with his hands, and best of all, sleeping through the night. He sleeps for about nine hours at a time at night, and we are thrilled. Once I am back at work I will have more time to update. My life is good. Very good.
