Hello there- I am still alive. Life is going so quickly right now it doesn't seem I have the time to even paint my nails, much less update. However, today I am making time. My boy turned nine months old on Friday. I can hardly believe it. He's a big, big boy. Big meaning very long. He is wearing 24 month old clothes already. The doctor said she thinks he is going to be very tall. I love that boy. Like nothing else. His babysitter is a 56 year old woman whose husband passed away three years ago from cancer. I absolutely love her. There are two other kids there too, who baby boy loves to play with. She takes excellent care of him and it's obvious he's crazy about her. The other day she asked if I had time to take a look at her computer. She knows nothing about them, and it was acting funny since one of her grandson's was surfing the net. I said sure. After a quick virus scan, I discovered she had 247 bad boys on her machine. I took the computer home with me. Four hours later, it was good to go. Talk about a mess. I would of wiped it clean and started from scratch but she couldn't find any of her software. She thanked me a million times. She also told me to deduct some money from the next check I give her. I said no, friends help friends. She then gave me an incredible idea. She said she's called the g%*k squad before to come to her house. They charged her a flat rate of $229.00 to do basically what I did. Highway robbery. She said her neighbors and friends have used them too. She suggested I start my own business on the side of cleaning up and repairing computers in my home. I could charge much less. She said she could give my information to her friends. Jackpot. Why I never thought of this before, I don't really know. Yep- I will be putting up a website and seeing if I get any calls. That would be completely sweet. In other news, I now have my office back at work and things are going smoothly. If I don't have anything to bitch about, I usually don't end up writing. The holidays are approaching, and we all know I hate the holidays with all of the crowds and cash flying out of my pocket. I am sure to fire out an entry or two. Sorry for the lack of updates. I still read all of yours every day.
