This summer is flying by. I blinked an eye and it's already August. Here's what new with me: We are having a boy, but cannot decide on a name. So far we are liking: Reid Any of those sound like winners to you? Reid is my fav. right now. However, the middle name has to be Ronald. For one, it's my hubby's middle name, and the name comes from his Uncle who was killed in an auto accident three days before he was born. Reid Ronald sounds ridiculous but how often is the middle name used? The other day I had to take my car in because the electric door wasn't working right. The service manager said their driver would take me back home, as hubby was at work. He said for me to wait in the waiting area and the guy would be back shortly. I got to the waiting room and there were eight people sitting in there. No available chairs. I am almost seven months pregnant and it's quite clear I am with child. Not one person offered me their seat. So I stood for twenty five minutes waiting for this guy. During this time my hubby called my cell. I whispered how nobody offered me their seat. He said to go see if there was anywhere to sit in the show room. Right after we got off of the phone the drive came back and we left. when I got home, I called hubby and he asked if anyone brought me a chair. I said no and asked why. As soon as we got off the phone he called the service manager and the receptionist and asked if someone could please bring me a chair to sit on. I love that man of mine. He takes such good care of me. My ex-hubby hasn't been paying the rent on the house he lives in, which is owned by his step brother. His step brother and his wife are two of my very best friends. This has been going on for quite a while...him not paying the rent over and over again. The kicker was the other day they received a sewer bill for almost a year's worth of non-payment. He'd had it. He has listed the house for sale, only ex-hubby doesn't know it. There's no for sale sign in the yard, but it's listed online via a realtor. He's afraid if he tells the jackass what he's doing, he will not pay another penny towards anything and he's probably very right not to tell him. So they have no car- they rent a car every week, they have crap credit, they have three children to house, and now they will have no where to live. To try and catch up, they borrowed a car from his step mother for a couple months to save some bucks at the car rental place. His idiot hoosier of a wife took it in for an oil change. At that time, she was told there was a crack some where and the car wasn't retaining the oil. She said, and I do quote,"It's not my car so what do I care". Not only did she not have it fixed, she didn't tell her step mother in law about the issue. End result? The engine locked up and caught on fire. The car is totaled. I would feel sorry for him if it wasn't for the fact that he makes well over a hundred grand a year and chooses to blow his money on lord knows what instead of being a responsible adult. He will never change. Deep down I am starting to think people can't change. So he will have to move in with his wife's family down in the sticks where she is from. A good hour or so with no traffic from his work. What a provider. He told me I would never have a life without him. Happiness is certainly the best revenge.
